How To Use Certificate of Provenance Feature

Over a certain value, your meteorite would have come with a physical certificate of authenticity.  On that COA, a number has been provided.  This is your unique ID number that verifies that you are the sole owner of that specimen.

Transferring of ownership is easy - just make sure you always keep the physical card with the specimen so the next owner can ensure their stone is documented and archived as described above.

A quick note - this is a brand new feature, therefore, past orders may not have been provided a number on the physical certificate.  We are happy to provide this number to you, if that's the case.  Simply reach out to us at ICMeteorites@gmail.com.

Follow these simple steps:

1)  Locate your physical certificate of authenticity.
Remember - not all meteorites will have this number written on your card.

2) On the homepage of our website, navigate down to the "Certificate of Provenance"

3) Type in your unique code, and your order will show up. If multiple items were ordered, they  will also show up under this number.  In that case, all items are being acknowledged and verified.  For example, if you purchased one Martian meteorite and one lunar Dust Necklace, both items are verified under that unique number, creating a provenance/chain of custody that only belongs to you (the buyer).
