Our Personal Classifications

The Interstellar Collection's Personal Classifications

At The Interstellar Collection, we place strong emphasis on scientific validation and formal classification. Select specimens acquired by our company are submitted to leading scientists in the field of meteoritics for detailed laboratory analysis, which includes breaking down the stone's mineral composition, structure and chemistry, creating thin sections to study under optical microscopes and electron microprobes, measuring isotopic ratios through mass spectrometry, and measuring cosmic ray exposure.  When approved, these meteorites are officially authenticated, assigned a formal name/number under the company/Brett's name, and published in the Meteoritical Bulletin — the internationally recognized registry of classified meteorites.

The following specimens represent meteorites associated with The Interstellar Collection that have undergone formal scientific study and have been accepted into the permanent scientific record. Each listing reflects our commitment to authenticity, documentation, and meaningful contribution to planetary science.
