This 265g Brahin Pallasite Meteorite End Cut is an amazing piece for any collector of meteorites. We decided to keep the end piece rather large to give you the best of both worlds - a visual experience of both the interior and exterior of a stunning pallasite meteorite.

The first Brahin pallasites were unearthed in Belarus, Russia in 1810. Pallasites, remarkably rare, account for just 0.2% of all meteorites, owing to their origin at the boundary of an asteroid's mantle and core.

The exquisitely polished surface of this slice showcases a mosaic of olivine (magnesium iron silicate) crystals from the asteroid's mantle, suspended within its lustrous iron-nickel matrix derived from the asteroid's core. The reverse side displays the natural external surface of the meteorite.

This pallasite meteorite is sure to be a standout piece in any collection. Don't miss out on the chance to add this incredible meteorite to your collection!

About Stony-Iron Meteorites: Stony-iron meteorites, the rarest and often considered the most visually-desirable of the three meteorite categories, consist of iron-nickel, silicate minerals and gemstones. Within the stony-iron category, we have two different types: Pallasites and Mesosiderites.
