This is our brand new Mesosiderite meteorite, which has been formerly named El Milhas 005. This is an absolutely stunning looking meteorite, and looks a lot like the famous Estherville Mesosiderite!. It has been subtyped, as well (Group A3). The metal inside reflects like you are looking into a mirror - truly something you need to see for yourself. The photos are beautiful, but somehow still don’t do it any justice - you must hold this in your hands to really understand what we mean. About Stony-Iron Meteorites: Stony-iron meteorites, the rarest and often considered the most visually-desirable of the three meteorite categories, consist of iron-nickel, silicate minerals and gemstones.
