This massive, stunning end cut of an L5 ordinary chondrite melt breccia was discovered in Niger in 2024. It has a beautiful jet-black crust on the backside of it, and a small window on the front revealing its stunning interior.

The meteorite is characterized by abundant dark, glassy impact melt enclosing angular chondritic clasts. The meteorite also contains readily visible iron-nickel metal and sulfides, with macroscopic flow structures preserved within the melt, indicating that the rock experienced intense impact heating on its parent asteroid before being brecciated and rapidly cooled.
