The polished slice of this meteorite reveals its brecciated interior, featuring scattered fragments of light-colored clasts embedded within a dark-gray to black cryptocrystalline matrix. According to electron microprobe analysis and reflected light microscopy performed by C. Agee at UNM, this meteorite is classified as an anorthositic gabbronorite melt breccia.
It primarily consists of fine-grained pigeonite, with minor amounts of augite and olivine, all of which are dispersed and enclosed in a dominant plagioclase-rich, vesicular melt rock host. Additionally, trace amounts of ilmenite, troilite, low-nickel Fe-metal, and Ti-chromite were detected.
