Eucrites are a part of the HED Group of Meteorites. "H" being Howardites, "E" being Eucrites, and "D" being Diogenites. HED's are achondrites that are derived from a differentiated parent body (asteroid). As a piece of natural history, this meteorite has a unique story to tell.
