This newly-discovered Pallasite meteorite, found near the village of El Gatrani in Africa, is the prize piece of our entire collection. It is covered in crystals that formed in outer space and showcases a jet-black fusion crust on the backside - the remnant, preserved tale of its once violent entry into Earth's atmosphere. This is a one-of-a-kind, museum-grade specimen that is meant to be proudly displayed. No others were found during its discovery, making this stone the only one in existence!
Please note: This stone must be insured prior to being shipped out. An in-person delivery arrangement may also be made between you and a member of our team, in place of shipping.
About Stony-Iron Meteorites: Stony-iron meteorites, the rarest and often considered the most visually-desirable of the three meteorite categories, consist of iron-nickel, silicate minerals and gemstones. Within the stony-iron category, we have two different types: Pallasites and Mesosiderites.
